Bright & Cozy December

This fine soap is a real winter soap. It reminds me of the dark winter months, filled with lots of light and coziness!
The winter months can unfortunately also mean dry and cracked hands and fingertips. For the same reason, the winter soaps are made with extra fatty and nourishing ingredients!

The soap base always consists of olive oil and coconut oil.

Olive oil is a gentle oil for the skin. It contains a number of antioxidants that protect and nourish the skin.

Coconut oil has a unique ability to remove dirt and oil from the skin. It is a deep cleanser and is the primary reason why soap foams.

The soap's other ingredients are shea butter, mango butter, activated charcoal and amaretto powder.

Shea Butter This shea butter is unrefined and has a very penetrating scent. It is incredibly nourishing and moisturizing, thanks to its natural fatty acids. It is incredibly mild on the skin, and perfect for sensitive skin.

Mango butter is the lightest butter of them all, and is absorbed into the skin faster than many of the other types of butter available. Like shea butter, mango butter also has some really good fatty acids, and is therefore also extra nourishing and moisturizing. Mango butter is mild, both in scent and against the skin. Together with shea butter, it helps give this soap top marks for delicate and sensitive skin.

Activated charcoal gives the soap its beautiful dark blue/black color. Activated charcoal binds impurities and excess oil like a magnet. It cleanses the skin and provides a gentle and pleasant exfoliation of the skin. Together with shea and mango butter, it gives a nice balance to the soap, so the soap does not feel too greasy on the skin.
Activated charcoal is extracted from coconut shells.

Amaretto powder is added solely to give the soap its bright color.
